Welcome to Hortus Arboretum & Botanical Gardens.

The gardens are now being run as a non-profit organization whose mission is to sustain the native, unusual and historic plant life of our area and serve as a vital educational resource for the public.
We are also focused on saving rare and endangered plants with the goal of making sure that species diversity is preserved.
We are attempting to create a 'Living Textbook' of plants that can be grown in the Hudson Valley.
The arboretum's long term goal is to be Ulster County's first Arboretum and Botanical Garden.
We are open on special event days, class days and by appointment.
We couldn't have grown this far without your love and support.
See you in the garden,
Scott Serrano & Allyson Levy
